Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a TIG Welder located in Vishakhapatnam. The TIG Welder will perform tasks such as preparing and assembling materials for welding, setting up welding equipment, welding components, and ensuring quality standards are met. The role will also involve inspecting and maintaining tools and equipment, ensuring safety compliance, and following technical drawings or specifications in daily operations.
Qualifications
- Expertise in TIG welding techniques and tools
- Proficiency in interpreting technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications
- Knowledge of metallurgy and working with a variety of metals
- Understanding of workplace safety standards and procedures related to welding
- Manual dexterity, precision, and eye-hand coordination for welding tasks
- Ability to work in a physically demanding environment and lift heavy materials
- Prior experience as a TIG Welder in manufacturing or industrial settings
- High school diploma or equivalent; certification in welding or vocational training preferred
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities
