Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Ticketing Executive with IATA qualifications to join our dynamic team in the Tourism industry. The ideal candidate will oversee ticketing operations, ensure compliance with industry regulations, and provide exceptional customer service while coordinating with airlines and managing reservations.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and execute ticketing operations in adherence to IATA regulations and industry standards.
- Coordinate with airlines, travel agents, and customers to facilitate ticket reservations and resolve booking issues.
- Issue tickets, process changes, cancellations, and refunds promptly and accurately.
- Maintain updated knowledge of airline tariffs, rules, and regulations to provide accurate information and advice to customers.
- Collaborate with internal teams to optimize ticketing procedures and enhance operational efficiency.
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and disputes with professionalism and a customer-centric approach.
- Ensure all ticketing-related documentation and records are accurately maintained and up-to-date.
- Stay updated on industry trends, new technologies, and best practices in ticketing and tourism.
Requirements:
- IATA qualification is mandatory.
- Proven experience in ticketing operations within the Tourism or Travel industry.
- Proficiency in ticketing systems and software (e.g., Amadeus, Sabre, Galileo).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Customer-focused mindset with a dedication to providing exceptional service.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to handling challenges.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelorâs degree in Tourism, Hospitality, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Additional certifications or training in ticketing and reservations systems.
- Multilingual abilities may be advantageous in dealing with a diverse clientele.
