Thermal CFD Analyst

Qualification: ME / M.Tech / BE : Thermal /Heat Power/ Mechanical / Automobile

Experience: 2 to 5 years

Roles & Responsibility:

• Developing and validating vehicle-level thermal and energy management models in GT-SUITE
• Simulating subsystems like energy storage, driveline, and climate control, along with components, should align with analyzing consumption data across various energy-consuming elements.
• Optimization of energy flow and thermal interactions to improve efficiency and performance.
• Perform simulation setup, post-processing, and validation against experimental data.
• Collaborate with global teams to align on system requirements and methodologies

Must Have:

• Expertise in GT-SUITE/MATLAB-Simulink or any equivalent tool for thermal and energy management drive cycle simulation
• Good understanding of electric powertrains and battery systems.
• Good understanding of vehicle dynamics and interest in the principles of optimal control.
• Experience in simulating components like batteries, motors, HVAC components, etc.
• Experience in working with CAD data.
• Skills in defining boundary conditions and post-processing data.
• Knowledge of energy flow optimization and debugging simulation models.
• Strong understanding of CFD theory and vehicle energy systems.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and teamwork skills.

Good to Have:

• Experience in scripting/customization in GT-SUITE, MATLAB and experience of Simulink systems modelling.
• Good version control and source code management using Git / DevOps experience
• Experience in simulation methodology & process development.
• Knowledge of vehicle performance metrics and system interactions.
• Automotive industry experience with OEMs or Tier 1 suppliers.
