Third Eye - A Center for Autism is a recognized non-profit organization based in Coimbatore, dedicated to the development and growth of children with autism. Founded by Ms. Saranya Rengaraj and her team, the organization offers individualized and specialized instruction tailored to each child through small class sizes and a one-on-one teaching approach. Utilizing research-based strategies, the center supports neurodiverse learners by identifying their unique strengths, talents, and growth opportunities. A variety of extracurricular activities, from outdoor experiences to motor skills projects, is offered to nurture creativity, functional abilities, and self-confidence in every child.

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role located in Coimbatore for a Therapist Graduate. The Therapist Graduate will work directly with children with autism, delivering individualized interventions, conducting progress assessments, and implementing research-based strategies to support their development. Daily tasks include planning and facilitating engaging activities, collaborating with other professionals, and providing tailored reports on each child's progress. Additionally, the candidate will foster a positive and inclusive environment to encourage both social and cognitive growth in children.

Qualifications

  • Strong understanding of child development principles and neurodiversity
  • Experience or training in therapeutic interventions, behavior management techniques, or special education methodologies
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills to engage with diverse learners, families, and team members
  • Adaptability and creativity in delivering individualized interventions and activities
  • Educational background in Psychology, Behavioral Science, Special Education, or a related field
  • Previous experience working with children with autism is highly beneficial
