Job Description
Job Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement scientific curricula for senior secondary classes.
- Deliver engaging theory and practical lessons in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology.
- Prepare lesson plans, instructional materials, and assessment tools aligned with national standards.
- Evaluate student performance, provide constructive feedback, and maintain accurate academic records.
- Mentor and support students in laboratory work, ensuring safety protocols are strictly followed.
- Collaborate with fellow teachers and school leadership to enhance the overall academic environment.
- Participate in professional development programs, workshops, and continuous training initiatives.
- Contribute to extracurricular science activities, such as science fairs, Olympiads, and clubs.
Essential Qualifications
- Master's degree or higher in Physics, Chemistry, Biology, or a related science discipline / Bachelor of Education (B.ed).
- Full‑time teaching certification or equivalent qualification recognized by the Indian education authorities.
- Strong command of English and Hindi (or Marathi) for effective classroom communication.
- Excellent grasp of the latest scientific concepts and pedagogical techniques.
- Proven ability to create an inclusive, motivating, and student‑centered learning environment.
Desired Experience
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience teaching senior secondary (classes 11‑12) science subjects.
- Demonstrated success in preparing students for board examinations and competitive exams.
- Experience with modern lab equipment and digital teaching tools (e.g., smart boards, LMS platforms).
- Track record of involvement in science outreach programs, workshops, or research projects.
