Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Prepare and deliver engaging lessons in accordance with the curriculum guidelines for TGT (Trained Graduate Teacher) Science.
  • Utilize various teaching methods and resources to facilitate active learning and student engagement.
  • Assess and evaluate students progress through assignments, tests, and examinations.
  • Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and performance.
  • Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that fosters students academic and personal growth.
  • Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and other stakeholders to support students holistic development.
  • Stay updated on advancements in the field of science education and integrate relevant content into teaching practices.
  • Participate in professional development activities to enhance teaching skills and pedagogical approaches.

Desired Candidate Profile:

  • Master's/ Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant field, with a specialization in Science.
  • Previous experience in teaching Science at the secondary level, preferably in a similar role.
  • Proficiency in subject matter knowledge and pedagogical techniques for effective teaching and learning.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with students, colleagues, and parents.
  • Ability to adapt teaching strategies to accommodate diverse learning styles and abilities.
  • Passion for education and commitment to students academic success and well-being.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail for maintaining accurate records and assessments.
