Textile Designer

Neem Crafts is a maker of luxury handcrafted homewarestable linens, rugs, pillows, and throwsdesigned for discerning customers in the US and European markets. We collaborate with artisanal clusters across India to create pieces that blend traditional craftsmanship with contemporary design sensibilities.

We're looking for a talented Textile Designer to join our team at our fully equipped design studio in Hyderabad.

About the Role

You'll be responsible for developing original textile designs and patterns across our product categories, translating market trends and brand aesthetics into production-ready concepts. You'll work closely with our artisan partners to ensure designs are both beautiful and achievable through handcraft techniques.

What We're Looking For

• 4+ years of experience in textile or surface pattern design, with work produced for international brands or markets
• Degree from NID, NIFT, or equivalent design institution
• Strong portfolio demonstrating range across woven, printed, and embroidered textiles
• Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and CAD tools for textile design
• Understanding of production processes, materials, and artisanal techniques
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset
• Willingness to travel domestically to artisan clusters as needed
