Testing Engineer (Runoff) - Injection Moulding

We are seeking a proactive Testing Engineer to join the Run-off Team, specializing in Injection Moulding. The ideal candidate will have 2-4 years of experience testing injection moulding machines and will be responsible for testing machines according to customer and design specifications, improving productivity, and contributing to overall operational excellence.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Testing and Quality Assurance: Test IMM (Injection Moulding Machines) based on customer requirements and design specifications.
• Process Improvement: Carry out improvement activities, including 5S and Gemba monitoring, to align with business needs. You will also do Kaizen activities to improve products and reduce costs.
• Documentation and Maintenance: Develop SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) and run-off procedures as needed. You will also maintain run-off instruments and make Part Deviation Forms (PDF).
• Team and People Management: Help trainee engineers and juniors with troubleshooting and revise check sheets regularly.
• Productivity: Drive productivity improvements to meet yearly targets through process enhancements.

Skills Required

• Basic Qualifications: A Diploma in Plastics or Diploma in Mechanical is required.
• Preferred Qualifications: A BE/BTech Mechanical or Diploma in Electric is preferred.
• Experience:24 years of experience in testing injection moulding machines.
• Technical Skills: The ability to test machines, develop procedures, and perform troubleshooting.
• Continuous Improvement: Experience with Kaizen and 5S methodologies.
• Teamwork: The ability to assist and guide junior team members.
