The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of software testing principles and methodologies, with hands-on experience in both manual and automated testing. You will be responsible for ensuring the quality and performance of our software products by designing and executing test plans, identifying defects, and collaborating closely with development teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.
- Design and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on project requirements.
- Identify, document, and track defects using bug tracking tools.
- Collaborate with developers and product managers to ensure quality throughout the development process.
- Perform regression testing to ensure existing functionalities remain unaffected by new features.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving the overall quality of the codebase.
- Prepare and maintain test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and test reports.
- Analyze test results and provide feedback to the development team.
Skills and Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 1-3 years of experience in software testing, preferably in a technology-driven environment.
- Proficiency in test automation tools such as Selenium, JUnit, or TestNG.
- Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and testing methodologies (Agile, Waterfall).
- Experience with bug tracking tools like JIRA, Bugzilla, or similar.
- Familiarity with programming languages such as Java, Python, or C# for automation scripting.
- Knowledge of performance testing tools like JMeter or LoadRunner is a plus.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
