As a Testing Associate, you deliver test plans, accurate testing estimates, draft and execute end-to-end test scenarios, and validate results for internal sign-off to support global change initiatives. You partner with Operations, Product, and Technology to drive process improvements, manage defects through re-testing and closure, and enable the rollout of automated testing solutions. You deputize for the Test Manager as needed, communicate clear updates to team members, leads, and clients, and adapt to evolving methodologies and organizational change.
Job Responsibilities
- Plan and estimate testing by creating test plans and providing accurate estimates during daily scrum calls.
- Define and execute scenarios by drafting, documenting, and running end-to-end test scenarios using Business Driven Development.
- Automate and optimize execution by leveraging test automation tools to improve coverage, efficiency, and consistency.
- Collaborate cross-functionally by partnering closely with Operations, Product, and Technology teams to align requirements and delivery outcomes.
- Improve and syndicate ways of working by identifying opportunities to accelerate and synergize testing processes and socializing enhancements for validation.
- Track and remediate quality issues by monitoring, reporting, and managing defects through triage inputs, re-testing, and closure.
- Report and lead delivery readiness by validating and presenting test results for sign-off, deputizing for the Test Manager in calls/communications, and communicating status clearly while adapting to evolving practices and change initiatives.
Required qualifications, skills, and capabilities
- Financial Services functional and regression testing experience, with strong test scripting and execution capability
- Agile delivery expertise, including defining requirements, documenting user stories, and working effectively in sprint-based delivery
- Structured problem-solving skills to break down complex issues, identify root causes, and drive timely remediation
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects/teams and provide clear updates to teams, leads, and clients
Preferred qualifications, skills, and capabilities
- Bachelor's degree with relevant experience, with project or Agile methodology certification
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, with working knowledge of Tableau, Alteryx, QlikView, or Xceptor
- Ability to operate effectively in a cross-functional, global team environment and influence outcomes through collaboration and communication
- Demonstrated ability to support automated testing rollout and adapt to change management initiatives and evolving methodologies
