Job Description

J.P. Morgan Wealth Management is a global leader in investment and wealth management, serving institutions, high-net-worth individuals, and retail investors worldwide.

As a Test Automation Engineer within the Quality Assurance / Test Engineering Team, you ensure financial applications meet business, regulatory, and quality standards through strong functional validation and scalable automation. You design and execute manual and automated tests, identify defects early, and strengthen release confidence across critical platforms. You also help evolve testing capabilities by adopting AI-driven approaches that improve coverage, speed, and defect detection.

Job Responsibilities

  • Design and execute manual test cases to validate end-to-end business flows and functional requirements.
  • Develop and maintain automation frameworks and scripts using Selenium, Playwright, UI Path, and Java.
  • Analyze requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria to ensure complete test coverage across business logic scenarios.
  • Identify defects, document findings, and partner with developers to drive timely resolution and retesting.
  • Automate regression suites and integrate them into delivery pipelines to improve test efficiency and release quality.
  • Leverage AI-driven testing tools and techniques to enhance coverage, improve defect detection, and accelerate execution.
  • Collaborate with business and technology stakeholders to align testing outcomes with financial and regulatory expectations.


Required qualifications, skills, and capabilities

  • 3+ years of experience in QA engineering covering both manual and automation testing
  • Finance domain knowledge covering financial products, processes, and regulatory standards
  • Hands-on automation experience with Selenium, Playwright, UI Path, and Java including framework development and maintenance
  • Strong test design, defect management, and communication skills with the ability to translate requirements into comprehensive test coverage


Preferred qualifications, skills, and capabilities

  • Experience applying AI-driven testing tools and intelligent automation techniques across the testing lifecycle
  • Exposure to testing in regulated environments with strong auditability and documentation practices
  • Familiarity with CI/CD practices and integrating automated tests into pipelines
    Experience creating scalable automation reporting and quality metrics (e.g., pass rate trends, defect
  • leakage, coverage)
