  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5 years of experience in the manufacturing process and product development for mechanical parts and assemblies for electronics products.
  • 2 years of experience in designing mechanical components such as metal parts, mechanical assemblies, printed circuit board outlines.
  • Experience in mechanical design and development to support manufacturing.
  • Experience with 3D CAD tools like 3D MCAD, NX, Creo, or Solidworks.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience with product data management systems (e.g., Agile, Windchill).
  • Experience in one or more sub-disciplines (e.g., sheet metal fabrication, hard tooling fabrication, plastic injection molding), with the ability to provide design for feedback.
  • Knowledge of precision sheet metal fabrication processes (e.g., Numerical Control (NC) punching, press brake forming, hardware insertion processes), hard tooling fabrication processes (e.g., metal stamping), plastic injection molding processes, and electro-mechanical assembly.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with global teams on projects including multiple technologies.

  • Manage cross-organizational stakeholders and promote relationships with teams. Collaborate and coach a distributed team of engineers.
