Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Test Specialist with expertise in payroll systems to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in testing payroll, HRIS, or finance systems, ensuring compliance and accuracy in software solutions.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Develop, execute, and maintain detailed test cases for payroll and HRIS applications.
  • Validate payroll calculations, statutory compliances, and tax regulations in the system.
  • Identify, document, and track defects using test management tools such as JIRA.
  • Perform data validation using SQL queries to ensure accuracy of payroll and HR-related data.
  • Participate in automation testing using tools like Selenium or UFT.
  • Analyze test results, troubleshoot issues, and suggest process or system improvements.

Job Requirements:

  • Proven experience in software testing, specifically with payroll, HRIS (Workday, etc.), or finance systems.
  • Strong understanding of payroll concepts, statutory compliances, and tax regulations.
  • Proficiency in test case design, execution, and defect tracking.
  • Experience with test management tools (JIRA) and automation tools (Selenium, UFT).
  • Basic SQL knowledge for data validation.
  • Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
