2) Role Overview
We are looking for a Testing Specialist – Measurement Solutions & Market Development to support SolutionMall's growth in India.
This is a part-time, cooperation-based role. We are looking for someone who has practical familiarity with testing instruments, measurement tools, or monitoring-related equipment, and who can work with SolutionMall to support both:
- technical understanding of testing and measurement products
- local market development and customer follow-up
The role is not intended to be a purely internal office position. It is also not a simple transactional sales role. We are looking for someone who can combine testing-related technical knowledge with practical business development support in the local market.
The main focus areas include:
- measurement and testing solution promotion
- customer development
- technical-commercial communication
- opportunity follow-up
- project and quotation support
3) Key Responsibilities
Technical Support for Testing & Measurement Solutions
- Support customer communication and solution discussions related to testing and measurement products
- Help explain product application scenarios involving:
- IoT-related measurement and monitoring
- power and electrical testing
- environmental measurement and monitoring
- signal or field testing applications
- Assist in matching customer needs with suitable measurement tools, testing instruments, and related solutions
- Support basic technical clarification during customer discussions, RFQs, and quotation preparation
This aligns with SolutionMall's Tools & Instruments suite, which is designed to support project planning, product selection, technical guidance, and client engagement, and which explicitly includes expanding instrument coverage for electrical, environmental, and signal testing categories.
Business Development & Market Expansion
- Develop local market opportunities in India related to testing, measurement, monitoring, and instrument-based projects
- Identify potential customers, contractors, system integrators, distributors, industrial clients, utilities, and channel partners
- Support SolutionMall in market promotion, customer development, and opportunity tracking for measurement-related solutions
- Help convert initial customer interest into practical RFQ discussions and project follow-up
This fits SolutionMall's current cooperation model, where local partners are expected to support market promotion, business negotiation, customer development, and project opportunity tracking in their region.
Customer Coordination & Opportunity Follow-Up
- Maintain communication with potential customers and project stakeholders
- Follow up on customer requirements, project background, and application scenarios
- Collect useful opportunity information for internal coordination and solution matching
- Help keep local opportunities active and moving forward through practical follow-up
Quotation, Solution Matching & Project Support
- Assist SolutionMall teams in preparing technically aligned quotations for testing and measurement related opportunities
- Help clarify technical requirements during early-stage solution matching
- Support internal coordination between customer needs, product direction, and project follow-up
- Contribute practical field feedback from customers and local market interactions
Market Insight & Channel Development
- Share local market feedback on demand trends, customer concerns, pricing expectations, and competitor activity
- Help SolutionMall improve its market approach for testing and measurement opportunities in India
- Build and maintain useful local relationships with industry contacts and potential project stakeholders
4) Qualifications
Required
- 2+ years of experience in one or more of the following areas:
- testing instruments
- measurement tools
- monitoring devices
- electrical or power testing
- environmental measurement
- IoT-related sensing or monitoring applications
- technical-commercial support for instruments or industrial products
- Practical understanding of one or more of the following:
- electrical / power measurement
- environmental monitoring
- field testing devices
- IoT-connected measurement equipment
- Ability to communicate with customers on both application-level technical topics and business needs
- Good communication and coordination skills
- Comfortable working in a part-time, flexible, cooperation-oriented role
- Working proficiency in English
Preferred
- Experience in local market development or customer follow-up in India
- Experience working with industrial clients, utilities, EPC firms, system integrators, distributors, or project-based customers
- Familiarity with testing or monitoring products used in power, utilities, environment, or IoT projects
- Hindi or other Indian local languages are a strong advantage

6) Work Model
This is a part-time role under a cooperation-based model.

7) Compensation
Compensation is performance-based and linked to actual contribution, including:
