Job Summary
We are seeking a qualified and experienced Project Supervisor – Electrical to oversee and coordinate the execution of electrical works on project sites. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supervising teams, ensuring quality and safety standards, managing daily site operations, and assisting in the timely delivery of electrical installations as per design specifications.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate all on-site electrical activities including installation, testing, and commissioning.
- Review electrical drawings, plans, and specifications to ensure proper implementation.
- Monitor work progress and ensure adherence to project timelines and quality standards.
- Allocate tasks to electricians, technicians, and subcontractors for optimal manpower utilization.
- Enforce safety regulations and conduct toolbox talks to maintain a safe working environment.
- Coordinate with project managers, engineers, clients, and other trades for smooth workflow.
- Inspect completed work to ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
- Maintain accurate site records including daily reports, material usage, and attendance.
- Identify and resolve site issues or delays proactively.
- Ensure availability of required materials, tools, and equipment at the site.
Required Qualifications
- Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- 3–5 years of experience in electrical supervision, preferably in construction or industrial projects.
- Strong understanding of electrical systems, wiring, and safety codes (e.g., NEC, IEC).
- Knowledge of electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical documents.
- Hands-on experience in installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems.
- Proven ability to lead and manage site teams.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Familiarity with MS Office and basic project management tools.
- Valid electrical license or certification (as per local regulations).
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with high- and low-voltage systems.
- Exposure to MEP coordination or multidisciplinary project environments.
