Job Description

  • Lead the testing activities and managing the test automation process, including planning, implementing and monitoring the test automation strategy.
  • Lead the planning, coordination, and execution of all test activities across projects to ensure high-quality delivery.
  • Define and implement the overall test strategy, test plans, and QA best practices within & across teams.
  • Collaborate closely with stakeholders (development, business analysts, product owners, and project managers) to ensure alignment of testing needs.
  • Manage a team of testers, including assigning tasks, mentoring, and reviewing performance.
  • Oversee test environments, data management, and defect triaging processes.
  • Ensure timely risk identification and mitigation related to quality and release schedules.
  • Support automation and continuous testing initiatives aligned with DevOps practices.

What should you bring along

  • 10+ years of experience in software testing, with at least 3+ years in a Test Manager or Test Lead role.
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills to manage test teams and communicate with senior stakeholders.
  • Experience managing multiple projects in Agile, Scrum, or hybrid environments.
  • Proven track record of managing test strategies, test planning, execution, and defect management end-to-end.
  • Ability to drive continuous improvements in QA processes and delivery efficiency.

Must have technical skill

  • Proficient in test automation tools like Java Selenium, Playwright, Rest Assured API, able to design and implement frameworks, strong problem-solving skills and project management skills, effective communication.
  • Familiar with programming languages and Agile/DevOps, Software Architecture, Cloud Based Testing, Performance testing and test data management.
  • Strong knowledge of manual and automated testing methodologies and tools.
  • Strong knowledge on Database and SQL.
  • Experience with test management tools like JIRA or HP ALM or TestRail.
  • Familiarity with automation frameworks using Selenium, TestNG, JUnit, or similar.
  • Good understanding of API testing tools like Postman, REST Assured, or SoapUI.
  • Hands-on experience in creating and maintaining test metrics, dashboards, and reports.
  • Knowledge of Sales Journey, Banking/SF.

Good to have skills

  • Exposure to CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Azure Pipelines.
  • ISTQB Fundamental or expert level or equivalent test certification.
  • Knowledge of performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner).
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) and microservices architecture.
  • Experience in regulated domains like BFSI, healthcare, or telecom.
  • Knowledge of BDD frameworks like Cucumber or SpecFlow.
