Your Role

As a Test Automation Architect, you will be responsible for defining automation strategies, designing scalable frameworks, and driving automation solutions across complex systems, devices, and applications. This role requires strong technical depth in automation, experience in regulated industries, In this role, you will:

  • Identify automation opportunities, articulate business value, and perform ROI/BEP analysis.
  • Conduct proofofconcepts for feasibility, tool evaluation, and risk identification; provide recommendations.
  • Design and develop automation frameworks, tools, simulators/emulators, and automation workflows.
  • Integrate automation with CI/CD pipelines and tools related to requirement management, source control, defect tracking, and test management.
  • Utilize GenAI tools for automated test case/script generation, automated code reviews, and efficiency improvements.

Your Profile

  • 912 years of relevant experience with a minimum of 4 years in Medical Device or other regulated industries (Mandatory).
  • 8+ years of handson test automation experience across platforms (Mandatory).
  • Mandatory: Readiness to work from office 5 days/week with minimum 9 productive hours/day.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (preferably Computer Science) or higher.

Technical Expertise

  • Strong understanding of SDLC, testing methodologies, and Vmodel workflows.
  • Hands-on automation experience for desktop, web, mobile, and systemlevel testing including functional and non-functional automation.
  • Strong experience in automating UI developed in QT, OpenGL/WebGL, 2D/3D modeling interfaces, and live data streaming.
  • Experience in automating gaming or similar realtime rendered applications (Preferred).
  • Expertise with automation tools such as Squish, Selenium, Cucumber, Appium, etc.
  • Extensive experience in automation framework design, remote execution, and CI/CD integration.
  • Experience using GenAI for automated test case generation, script development, and automated code reviews (Mandatory).
  • Strong programming/scripting knowledge:, Python, Shell, C++, QT, etc.
  • Exposure to medical/life science standards including:
    • IEC62304, ISO13485, SOUP/COTS validation, Design History File (DHF).
  • Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication, documentation, and collaboration skills.
