Proven experience of 4 years of hands-on experience of functional testing.
Strong knowledge of quality best practices and methodologies for software testing
Experience with automation tools such as selenium, Cypress.io Katalon Studio etc.is a value added.
Demonstrated ability to work effectively and collaboratively in a team environment
Experience in QA methodology, familiarity with Agile frameworks and regression testing is a plus
Familiarity with defect tracking tools, workflows, test case management tools, agile tools, and project tools,
Ability to document and troubleshoot errors
Working knowledge of test management software
Analytical mind and problem-solving aptitude, Strong organizational skills
Excellent written and oral communication skills and ability to multi-task day-to-day :
Work with the team on Manual Testing of Web, API and mobile applications.
Collaborate with Product team and other QA Engineers to develop effective strategies, test plans and use cases.
Execute test cases and analyze results. Evaluate product code according to specifications
Create logs to document testing phases and defects
Report defect to development teams
Help troubleshoot issues and document ever-evolving workflows and issue resolutions.
Conduct post-release or post-implementation testing
Comfortably run and read automated test scripts, own prioritization of use cases to be scripted, contribute to code reviews, write medium-high complexity test scripts independently
Automate functional tests
Serve as a point person for providing testing estimates and communicating test plan, report metrics and conduct reviews/audits to ensure that all project work and deliverables consistently meet Product Quality standards
Support and mentor other Software Test Engineers
Map business and technical requirements into test cases and/or test scripts
Cultivate and disseminate knowledge of quality assurance best practices
Data analysis, data verification, and problem-solving abilities
