Responsibilities:
- Provide engineering support in drilling and completions area to DWP team.
- Provide an objective assessment of Product Quality
- Contribute as an active Software Tester on the Team to deliver product stories
- Develop Test Cases based on Test Objectives and Acceptance Criteria
- Write comprehensive Test Cases to verify Product functionality
- Contribute during Sprint Planning to ensure all Testing concerns are discussed and accommodated in the story sizing
- Work with Subject Matter Experts to identify and define key End User Workflows
- Define, create and maintain Test environments
- Validate Functionality according to Requirements/Stories
- Verify Development changes have no undesired effect on other, associated areas of Functionality
- Identify, communicate and document Bugs in a consistent fashion
- Track Bugs through resolution and implementation
- Verify Bugs are resolved according to Bug Definition
Mandatory Skills Description:
- · Bachelor or Master Degree from a recognized university in petroleum, Geophysics, Geology or chemical engineering with minimum GPA 7.5 and above
- · Good understanding of upstream applications. (Preferred: EDT Applications)
- · Knowledge of one or more of the basic wells engineering concepts including:
- o Well construction – drilling techniques, well control, fluids property management, drilling mechanics, performance monitoring
- o Well completions – completion designs, well performance analysis,
- · Experience with engineering applications such as WellCat, Wellplan, Compass will be an advantage.
- · Comfortable with Agile methodologies
- · Excellent Communication Skills
Nice-to-Have Skills Description:
- Experience with web applications test automation, API testing, Performance testing, AzureAWS cloud services
- QA experience (Experience with Oil and Gas Upstream applications preferred)
- Experience with SDLC/STLC processes and complete understanding of various testing types viz Smoke, Functional, Integration, Performance, Regression and User Acceptance Testing etc.
- ISTQB foundation level certified (Optional)
- Well versed with Test Case creation, Defect and Test Management tool (Azure DevOps/TFS, JIRA)
- Basic understanding of Framework creation using any of the Automation tool.
