Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Test Engineer with 3–7 years of experience in embedded systems testing. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in embedded software testing, test methodologies, and communication protocols. This role requires ownership of test components, the ability to work independently, and contribution to high-quality product development in an Agile environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and execute complex test suites for embedded applications.
- Perform manual and automated testing across local and remote environments.
- Apply robust test strategies and methodologies to ensure product quality and compliance.
- Debug and troubleshoot issues in embedded software, communication interfaces, and system behavior.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and actively participate in Agile ceremonies.
- Host meetings, deliver technical presentations, and communicate findings effectively.
- Document test procedures, execution results, and reports using MS Office tools.
- Take ownership of test components in both mainline and sustenance projects with minimal supervision.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Own and manage testing components across mainline and sustenance projects.
- Develop and maintain parts of complex test suites.
- Execute test cases using manual and automated tools.
- Perform debugging and troubleshooting in various environments (local and remote).
- Ensure timely identification and resolution of issues.
- Demonstrate basic project management and ownership capabilities.
Required Skills
- Hands-on experience as an Embedded Test Engineer.
- Strong understanding of test strategies and methodologies.
- Experience with embedded applications and systems.
- Hands-on experience in embedded software testing.
- Experience working in Agile methodologies with knowledge of Azure DevOps (ADO).
- Hands-on experience with communication protocols like CAN and RS-232.
