Job Description
As the Lead SAP ABAP Developer, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining SAP applications. Your expertise in ABAP programming and experience with SAP ECC and S/4HANA will be instrumental in delivering high-quality solutions. You will collaborate with a dynamic team, driving innovation and ensuring seamless SAP operations.
Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a team of SAP ABAP developers, fostering a culture of collaboration and knowledge sharing.
- Design and develop SAP ABAP applications, ensuring optimal performance and scalability.
- Implement and integrate SAP ALE IDOC processes, enhancing data exchange and interoperability.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex SAP ABAP issues, providing timely and effective support.
- Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver tailored SAP solutions.
- Ensure adherence to SAP best practices and standards, maintaining high code quality and documentation.
- Stay updated with the latest SAP technologies and trends, driving continuous improvement and innovation.
- Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to enhance the team's development practices.
- Manage and prioritize multiple projects, ensuring timely delivery and meeting client expectations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum 8 years of experience in SAP ABAP development, with expertise in SAP ECC and S/4HANA environments.
- In-depth knowledge of ABAP programming, including OOP concepts, performance tuning, and debugging techniques.
- Experience with SAP ALE IDOC development and integration is highly preferred.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex SAP issues.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with a track record of leading and mentoring teams.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Certifications in SAP ABAP or related SAP technologies are an advantage.
- Willingness to stay updated with the latest SAP advancements and a passion for continuous learning.
