Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled Test Engineer with strong experience in automation testing, cloud-based applications, and AI concepts. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing test strategies to ensure high-quality software delivery in an Agile environment.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Create and maintain test cases, scenarios, and scripts based on feature descriptions and user stories in tools like JIRA.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
- Design and execute manual and automated test cases using tools such as Python and Cypress.
- Perform functional, regression, ad-hoc, and bug verification testing.
- Analyze test results, identify defects, and log, track, and verify bug fixes.
- Debug automation scripts and identify root causes of failures.
- Conduct testing across multiple levels including unit, integration, system, performance, and security testing.
- Work on testing cloud-native applications deployed on platforms like AWS.
- Identify QA process gaps and recommend improvements for better efficiency and quality.
Required Skills
- Strong understanding of software testing principles and QA methodologies.
- Experience in test planning and test case design for cloud-based applications.
- Hands-on experience in test automation using Python and Cypress.
- Knowledge of bug lifecycle management and defect tracking tools like JIRA, QMetry.
- Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS or similar).
- Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform.
- Basic understanding of AI/ML concepts.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
