Job Summary
We are hiring Test Automation Engineers with a unique blend of automation expertise and risk-based thinking. In this role, you won't just automate test cases - you'll be responsible for generating meaningful risk scenarios by leveraging GenAI-powered analysis of SOPs, source code, JIRA content, SME inputs, and auto-navigation tools like Playwright MCP. This is a strategic, hands-on role ideal for professionals who understand both the art of test automation and the science of risk detection.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify, define, and maintain risk-based test scenarios using :
- SOPs and documentation analyzed by GenAI tools
- Application source code intelligence (via GenAI insights)
- Feedback and inputs from SMEs and domain experts
- Auto-navigation data from tools like Playwright MCP
- Historical defect data and JIRA tickets (analyzed by GenAI)
- Develop and maintain automated test suites using Playwright and other modern frameworks.
- Work closely with product, QA, and engineering teams to prioritize and validate high-risk flows.
- Continuously update and refine risk scenarios as new releases, features, or dependencies emerge.
- Integrate test scenarios with CI/CD pipelines and ensure test coverage evolves with product changes.
- Participate in test strategy, execution, and reporting with a risk-driven mindset.
Must-Have Skills
- 4+ years of experience in test automation, preferably with Playwright or equivalent tools (e.g., Selenium, Cypress)
- Strong background in risk-based testing or ability to assess impact areas in complex systems
- Familiarity with using or interpreting insights from GenAI-based tools for analyzing SOPs, code, or tickets
- Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript or Python for test scripting
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD integration for automated testing
- Experience working with JIRA, Confluence, and test management tools
- Solid understanding of SDLC and STLC processes
Nice-to-Have Skills
- Experience with Playwright MCP or similar auto-navigation/intelligent exploration tools
- Exposure to GenAI tools for code summarization, document processing, or ticket clustering
- Familiarity with test data generation, mocking, and service virtualization
- Understanding of compliance-driven testing or working in regulated environments
- Experience in building frameworks that support AI-assisted testing or scenario generation
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
