Description
We are seeking a Test Automation Engineer to join our dynamic team in India. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining automated test scripts and frameworks to ensure the quality of our software products.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement automated test scripts using appropriate frameworks.
- Develop and maintain test automation frameworks and test cases for various applications.
- Collaborate with developers and product managers to understand testing requirements and ensure quality deliverables.
- Identify, record, and track bugs and issues in a timely manner.
- Perform regression testing and ensure that new features do not adversely affect existing functionalities.
- Generate test reports and provide feedback to the development team on quality metrics.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving test automation processes.
Skills and Qualifications
- 3-11 years of experience in test automation.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, C#, or Python.
- Strong knowledge of test automation frameworks like Selenium, Appium, or TestNG.
- Experience with continuous integration tools such as Jenkins or Bamboo.
- Familiarity with version control systems like Git or SVN.
- Understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
