Test Automation Engineer (Java, Selenium & API Testing)

Overall Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Test Automation Engineer with a strong background in automation testing using Selenium and Java. The ideal candidate will have experience in designing and developing test automation scripts, collaborating with teams, and implementing effective testing strategies in a dynamic environment.

Software Requirements:

• 4 to 6 years of experience in automation testing, specifically with Selenium and Java.
• Experience with Cucumber BDD framework and RestAssured for API testing.
• Familiarity with SQL for database testing and defect management using Jira.
• Strong understanding of Quality Assurance processes and methodologies.
• Knowledge of container orchestration technologies, particularly Kubernetes.
• Good understanding of investment banking and financial instrument concepts is a plus.

Overall Responsibilities:

• Design and develop test automation scripts from the ground up to enhance the testing process.
• Update existing test cases to align with new application features and functionalities.
• Focus on functional testing, utilizing both automation and manual testing methodologies.
• Collaborate with development and testing teams to define and implement an effective automated testing strategy, including CI/CD integration.
• Conduct regular code reviews and provide feedback to enhance the quality of test scripts.
