Responsibilities:

Strategic Test Planning:Partner with Technical Leads and Product Managers to define and execute effective test strategies aligned with project goals and timelines.

Test Design & Execution Oversight:Lead high-impact test efforts, ensuring robust test coverage and adherence to quality standards across manual and automated processes.

Automation & Optimization:Enhance existing test automation frameworks using tools likeSeleniumandAppium, and identify opportunities to streamline QA processes through continuous improvement and tooling upgrades.

Cross-Team Collaboration:Act as the QA point of contact, ensuring transparent communication with product and development teams. Promote quality practices across the SDLC.

Quality Ownership:Drive QA deliverables within Agile projects, mentor junior team members, and champion testing best practices.

Innovation & Continuous Learning:Stay current with industry trends in QA methodologies and technologies. Share insights to drive innovation within the QA team.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent practical experience).

Should have worked as QA Automation Engineer for atleast 6 years

3+ yearsof mobile QA experience (iOS & Android) with a strong foundation in test planning, execution, and documentation.

2+ yearshands-on automation experience withSelenium (Java)and custom framework development.

Strong experience withAppiumand real device/cloud testing platforms likeBrowserStack.

Skilled in bothmanual and automated testingapproaches.

Solid experience inAgile/Scrum, with proficiency inJIRA,Confluence, and defect tracking.

Knowledge ofCI/CD pipelines, with focus on optimizing automated tests for speed and reliability.

Advanced skills in programming for test automation (Java preferred).

Excellent communication skills (verbal & written) in English.

Strong team leadership, independence, and ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure.
