Test Automation Engineer

1. Test Automation:
2. Develop, maintain, and improve automated test scripts for web and mobile applications using tools such as Playwright. Ensure high coverage and effectiveness of automated tests to accelerate development cycles.
3. API Testing:
4. Design and implement API testing strategies using tools like RestAssured or similar frameworks. Ensure the APIs are functional, secure, and provide expected responses.
5. Performance Testing:
6. Design, develop, and execute performance test scripts using JMeter and LoadRunner. Conduct API load testing, monitoring analysis, and troubleshoot performance bottlenecks.
7. Enhancing Testing Frameworks:
8. Continuously enhance and improve the existing automation frameworks. Incorporate best practices to increase efficiency, reliability, and reusability in testing scripts.
9. Scripting & Automation Strategy:
10. Implement and manage the automated testing strategy for various applications and services, ensuring seamless integration with CI/CD pipelines.
11. Unix & Monitoring:
12. Perform performance analysis and load testing in Unix environments. Monitor system performance during testing to identify potential issues related to scalability and efficiency.
13. Collaboration & Reporting:
14. Collaborate with developers, QA teams, and other stakeholders to ensure test cases cover all critical features. Report bugs and performance issues, providing detailed insights and recommendations.

Qualifications:

• Experience: Minimum 3+ years of experience in test automation, specifically using tools like Playwright for web and mobile applications, and RestAssured for API testing.
• Performance Testing: Experience with JMeter and LoadRunner for performance testing and API load testing. Ability to analyze and optimize system performance.
• API & Automation Frameworks: Strong experience in implementing automation frameworks, API testing strategies, and performance testing methodologies.
• Scripting Skills: Ability to develop test scripts in languages like Java, Python, or JavaScript to support automation efforts.
• Unix/Systems Knowledge: Experience working with Unix-based environments for performance testing and monitoring.
• Problem Solving & Troubleshooting: Strong skills in identifying and resolving automation issues, performance bottlenecks, and other testing challenges.
• Communication: Excellent communication skills to report and collaborate with cross-functional teams on test results, issues, and strategies.

Desired Skills:

• Experience working in Agile environments.
• Familiarity with other performance testing tools such as Gatling or Apache Bench.
• CI/CD integration for test automation.
