Summary:
As a Test Automation Engineer, you will utilize quality processes, automation tools, and methodologies to enhance testing products and solutions. Your typical day will involve running the end-to-end quality engineering function, focusing on automation to improve control, accuracy, and integrity in testing processes. You will collaborate with various teams to ensure that the highest standards of quality are maintained throughout the development lifecycle.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
- Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
- Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts to ensure comprehensive test coverage.
- Analyze test results and provide actionable insights to improve product quality.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Mainframe Testing, Legacy applications Knowledge Functional testing , SQL.
- Good to have skills: IBM Data studio, Topaz
- Good To Have Skills: Experience with automated testing frameworks.
- Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and best practices.
- Familiarity with defect tracking tools and test management software.
- Experience in scripting languages relevant to automation.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in Mainframe Testing.
- This position is based at our Pune office.
