Main Purpose:
We are looking for an experienced Test Analyst Professional to join our product team. In this role, you will collaborate closely with software developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to ensure our products meet the highest standards of quality and reliability. The ideal candidate is passionate about delivering exceptional user experiences, possesses strong analytical skills, and is comfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Specific Responsibilities:
- Perform functional, integration, regression, and acceptance testing for new and existing features.
- Identify, document, and track software defects using a bug tracking system.
- Work closely with developers to investigate and resolve identified defects.
- Verify and validate fixes through retesting, ensuring resolved issues meet quality standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define quality goals and ensure successful software deliveries.
- Communicate test progress, test results, and other relevant information to stakeholders promptly.
- Recommend and implement process improvements to enhance the quality and efficiency of testing activities.
- Keep up to date with industry best practices, tools, and technologies to optimize QA processes.
- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for test procedures and testing outcomes.
- Provide clear, concise, and actionable insights to inform product decisions and enhance quality.
Skill Requirements - Essential:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
- Work experience in software quality assurance or software testing.
- Proficiency in testing methodologies, including functional, regression, and performance testing.
- Familiarity with defect tracking systems (e.g., Jira, Bugzilla) and version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Basic understanding of programming languages or scripting (e.g., Java, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML) is a plus.
- Experience with test automation frameworks or tools is highly desirable.
- Ability to manage competing priorities and deliver high-quality results in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail.
- Solid communication skills to effectively collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, handle multiple projects simultaneously, and adapt to changing requirements.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Strong commitment to continuous learning and staying updated on emerging testing trends.
Skill Requirements - Preferable:
- DevOps Methodology work experience.
- Experience with test automation frameworks or tools
- Maximo knowledge required to help plan and execute numerous projects.
- Certification in relevant work domain.
