Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Territory Sales Manager located for Mumbai, Delhi and Hyderabad. The Territory Sales Manager will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies to meet targets, maintaining effective communication with clients, and building long-term customer relationships. The role involves identifying new sales opportunities, providing excellent customer service, delivering product training to clients, and managing sales activities within the assigned territory
Sales Execution & Target Achievement
Achieve monthly, Quarterly and annual sales targets
Drive order booking and revenue generation from assigned territory
Product wise sales growth/product Mix
Provide Sales and OB forecast
Collaboration with internal Stake holders (Engineering, OM, Quality and Operations) for effective sales execution
Identify new opportunities and expand customer base and market reach
Customer Engagement
Build strong and long-term relationships with customers
Provide product demonstrations, technical support and after-sales service.
Act as the primary point of contact for customers in the territory.
Technical Seminars, Product Awareness and Local events participation
Vendor approvals & factory assessment from Utilities
Tendering & Project Follow Up
Track and Participate in tenders complying as per PQ and technical conditions in tenders
Attending Pre Bid Meeting, clarifications and deviations, incorporation of Specifications
Coordination with internal tendering team and provide inputs on technical and pricing
Market Intelligence
Upcoming Projects, Industry Expansion, Govt. Funded Projects
Tracking Competitor Activities, Pricing Trends and Product Offerings
Inputs on NPD based on market demand and customer need
Payment Follow Up & Commercial
Commercial Negotiation and understanding Statutory policies
Ensure timely collection of payments
Monitor customer outstanding dues and credit limits
