Territory Sales Manager (TSM OEM)

Position Summary
Responsible for promoting and selling furniture component products in a competitive market to achieve company and individual sales targets. The role involves managing OEM business, developing key relationships, and driving primary and secondary sales growth within the assigned territory.
Key Areas of Responsibility
- Develop and execute sales strategies to grow the existing product portfolio, particularly furniture components
- Manage OEM business effectively
- Build and maintain strong relationships with architects, consultants, engineers, designers, influencers, and customers
- Conduct detailed technical presentations, product discussions, proposals, cost estimations, and quotations
- Organize and participate in trade shows, exhibitions, and product launch events
- Track sales performance through monthly sales reports and MIS
- Conduct regular customer visits to understand business needs, buying behavior, and technical requirements
- Drive new market development while servicing existing customers
- Support effective credit management and ensure timely collection of statutory sales tax forms
- Lead and guide a team of Sales Executives / Area Sales Managers
- Manage territory-level operations, claims handling, and settlements
- Stay updated on industry trends, market dynamics, and regulatory requirements
- Maintain competitive intelligence, including SWOT analysis of customers and competitors
- Work closely with OEMs, and influencers to boost sales
- Implement regional marketing and promotional strategies
- Increase primary and secondary sales through distributors and dealers
- Build long-term relationships with OEMs and key influencers
Experience
- Prior has experience in a similar industry
- (Hardware / Laminates / Boards / Adhesives / Furniture Components)

- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Excellent planning, organizational, and multitasking abilities
- Proven sales experience in edge-bands, laminates, plywood, particle boards, hardware, adhesives/glue
- Result-oriented and aggressive sales approach
- Strong relationship-building and stakeholder management skills
- Excellent presentation skills for both large and small audiences
- Good analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
