Role Description This is a full-time hybrid role based in Mumbai, with a mix of on-site field work and some work-from-home flexibility. The Territory Sales Manager is responsible for driving sales growth within an assigned region, including managing dealer and distributor relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and executing territory sales plans. Day-to-day activities include visiting retail partners and prospects, conducting product presentations and demos, negotiating terms, and ensuring timely order closure. The role involves monitoring market trends and competitor activity, preparing regular sales forecasts and reports, and providing feedback to internal teams on product performance and customer needs. The Territory Sales Manager will also support customer service escalations, coordinate local promotional activities and events, and deliver training to channel partners and frontline staff on product features, brand standards, and sales best practices.

Qualifications

  • This role is open for only people with prior experience in bicycle industry.
  • Strong communication skills, including clear verbal and written communication and confident presentation abilities.
  • Proven sales experience, including territory management, pipeline development, and consistent achievement of sales targets.
  • Customer service skills, with a focus on building long-term relationships, handling escalations, and ensuring positive customer experiences.
  • Experience in training or coaching channel partners, retail staff, or internal teams on products and sales techniques.
  • Sales management capabilities, such as planning, reporting, forecasting, and coordinating with cross-functional teams.
  • Experience in consumer goods, mobility, sports, or cycling-related products is an advantage.
  • Ability to work independently in the field, manage time effectively, and travel regularly within the assigned territory.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
