Title: Territory Sales Manager Generalist

Job Purpose:
This role exists to achieve pre-set sales and revenue targets and goals in coordination with dealers and to develop product and brand image amongst retail and project customers in the assigned area.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Business Development and Sales
- Provide inputs to ASM to support strategic initiatives for achieving business targets from territory key accounts
- Communicate Kohler's value proposition to dealers, influencers, and end customers
- Stay updated on market trends, customer preferences, and competitor actions
Business Planning
- Support annual business planning by contributing territory-specific insights
- Cascade weekly dealer-wise sales targets and budgets
- Report and review dealer-wise achievements weekly and monthly
Market Expansion
- Identify and develop potential catchment areas for Kohler outlets
- Screen and finalize dealer prospects
- Oversee ACT approval, store layout, branding, and showroom openings
- Coordinate launch events and promotional visits
Relationship Management
- Conduct regular meetings with dealers, architects, interior designers, and plumbers
- Communicate new product launches and gather inputs for trade schemes
- Ensure timely delivery and resolution of complaints to enhance customer satisfaction
Efficient and Effective Dealer Operations
- Inspect dealer showrooms weekly for branding, product display, and design standards
- Perform weekly stock audits and ensure liquidation of slow-moving SKUs
- Train showroom staff on product knowledge and features
- Escalate dealer concerns and coordinate resolution strategies
Market Penetration
- Identify potential customers via influencers and ensure follow-ups
- Support lead conversion through dealer collaboration
- Execute timely and quality promotional campaigns
- Align execution of area plans with overall business goals
Order Generation and Processing
- Submit technical and commercial quotations
- Support negotiations and PO conversion
- Accompany customers for sample evaluations
- Coordinate with SCM for stock availability and delivery
- Handle shipment delays and initiate returns if needed
Skills and Knowledge:
- 57 years of sales management experience
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills
- Self-driven, mature, and results-oriented
- Willingness to travel across the assigned region
- MBA in Sales/Marketing preferred or graduate with relevant experience
