Position Summary
We are seeking an entrepreneurial and results-driven Territory Sales Manager (TSM) to lead a
strategic sales program in the Delhi NCR, with the full scope of extending this program based
on performance. This individual will be tasked with establishing Chromebook as the intelligent
alternative to competition for SMBs, Educational institutions and individuals with bulk requirements.
This is a high-impact role requiring a dual-pronged approach: 1 ) Directly pursuing and closing
high-volume bulk deals with SMBs, Educational institutions and individuals with larger requirements and
2) Activating a network of retail channel partners to generate leads. You will be the hunter
responsible for acquiring new business, which will then be transitioned to our experienced store
team for long-term nurturing.
Key Responsibilities
Proactive Hunting (B2B): Systematically identify, pursue, and close large-scale bulk
deals directly with SMBs, Educational institutions, and individuals with larger
requirements in the dense commercial hubs of Delhi NCR.
Channel Activation & Management (B2B + B2C): Identify the best-selling,
high-potential IT shops (local retail chains and key independent partners) in the
territory. Forge and activate new strategic partnerships to drive Chromebook sales
through two primary motions:
1. B2C Retail: Securing prominent placement for Chromebooks to sell to
walk-in customers.
2. B2B Lead-Gen: Actively maintaining and nurturing these partners to create a
force-multiplying, sustainable lead-generation engine for bulk deals.
Pipeline & Lead Generation: Build and manage a robust sales pipeline and enable
your channel partners to generate a consistent stream of qualified SMB leads for
bulk deals.
Sales Execution & Demonstration: De-risk the investment for clients by conducting
compelling on-site, door-to-door product demonstrations with the help of existing store
team and trainers.
Articulate the Google Advantage: Clearly communicate our unique value proposition
as Google's GTM team - championing Chromebook as our sole mission to counter the
OEM push for competitor devices.
Qualifications (Who You Are)
Experience: 3-5+ years of a proven track record in a B2B sales role, ideally in IT
hardware, consumer electronics, or a related tech field.
A Proven Hunter: Demonstrable experience in new business development,
cold calling, and new logo acquisition.
Dual-Function Experience: Experience in both direct sales (hunting new retail
partners) and channel management (activating partners) is highly preferred.
Entrepreneurial Mindset: You are a self-starter who is comfortable building a new
territory from the ground up.
Expert Communicator & Relationship Builder: A compelling presenter and negotiator,
able to simplify complex concepts and build strong, lasting relationships with both
new clients and channel partners.
Local Market Knowledge: You have a deep understanding of the Delhi NCR
SMB market.
Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
Compensation
Total Target Compensation (OTE): 17 - 20 Lakhs per annum.
Pay Mix: This role is structured with a 70% fixed and 30% variable component.
The variable pay is tied to the 100% on-target quota of 3,500 units in 12 months.
Accelerators: The plan includes aggressive accelerator rates for all units sold above
the 3,500-unit quota, strongly rewarding over-performance toward a 5,000+ unit stretch
goal.
