Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Territory Sales Executive to expand our market presence and drive revenue growth within their respective territorial domains. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and executing strategic sales plans, building strong client relationships, and achieving sales targets for our voice and communication solutions. This role requires a strong understanding of the telecommunications industry and the ability to effectively communicate the value of our products and services.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Territory Management: Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve and exceed sales targets within the assigned territory.
  • Lead Generation & Qualification: Identify and qualify potential clients through various channels, including cold calling, networking, and industry events.
  • Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders within client organizations.
  • Solution Selling: Understand client needs and tailor solutions to address their specific business challenges, showcasing the value of Clixxo's products and services.
  • Sales Presentations & Proposals: Deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals to prospective clients.
  • Negotiation & Closing: Negotiate contracts and close deals to achieve revenue goals in close coordination with the Line Manager.
  • Market Analysis: Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to identify new opportunities.
  • Sales Reporting: Maintain accurate and up-to-date sales records and provide regular reports on sales activities and progress.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, including technical support, marketing, and product development, to ensure a seamless customer experience.
  • Product Knowledge: Maintain in-depth knowledge of Clixxo's product portfolio and industry trends.
  • Travel: Undertake regular travel within the assigned territory as required.

 

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Communication Engineering, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Experience: Proven experience in sales (1-5 years), preferably in the telecommunications or technology industry.
  • Market Knowledge: Strong understanding of the assigned territorial market.
  • Core Skills: Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Relationship Building: Proven ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Analytical Thinking: Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Work Ethic: Self-motivated and results-oriented professional.
  • Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in CRM software and the Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Mobility: A valid driver's license and owning a personal vehicle is an added advantage.

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Attitude: An aptitude to communicate, alongside the ability to learn and adapt with an attitude to excel, shall be the foremost qualification criteria.
  • Industry Experience: Experience selling IP-PBX systems, telecommunications equipment, or related solutions.
  • Networking: An existing network of contacts within the telecommunications industry.
  • Technical Knowledge: Knowledge of SIP and VoIP protocols.
  • Government Sales: Familiarity with government procurement processes (GeM).
