5+ years of experience as a Teradata Administrator Strong hands-on experience with: Teradata Database Administration Teradata Viewpoint Teradata TASM / TDWM Teradata BAR Solid understanding of Teradata architecture and utilities Experience with Linux / Unix environments Knowledge of SQL and query performance tuning Experience managing large-scale, high-availability Teradata environments Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills Good communication and stakeholder coordination skills
Teradata Administration & Operations Install, configure, and maintain Teradata Database environments Perform system upgrades, patches, and version migrations Manage Teradata utilities such as TASM, Viewpoint, BAR, and TDWM Monitor system health, workload performance, and capacity utilization Performance & Workload Management Configure and manage Teradata Workload Management (TASM / TDWM) Perform query tuning and performance optimization Analyze system performance metrics and resolve bottlenecks Implement workload prioritization and resource allocation strategies
