We are hiring a Tender Executive to join an on-site team supporting bid capture, techno-commercial pricing and contract management for solar projects across regions.
Primary Job Title: Tender Executive 6 Solar (Renewable Energy)
Role & Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end tender activities: review RFx documents, prepare submission timelines, and manage internal sign-offs to meet bid deadlines.
- Develop techno-commercial bid packages including scope clarification, BOQ preparation, pricing models and commercial terms.
- Coordinate with engineering, procurement and finance teams to validate technical assumptions, cost inputs and delivery timelines.
- Analyse RFP/RFQ terms and prepare commercial deviations, risk registers and contract caveats for negotiation.
- Manage vendor engagement: obtain quotes, evaluate comparative quotes, and support vendor selection for bid submissions.
- Maintain bid trackers, prepare management presentations and support post-bid clarifications and contract award workflows.
Skills & Qualifications Must-Have
- Proven experience in tendering and bid management for Solar EPC projects.
- Strong techno-commercial acumen: BOQ preparation, cost estimation and pricing models for PV systems.
- Advanced MS Excel skills including pivot tables, lookups and financial modelling.
- Hands-on experience with e-tendering platforms and RFx processes.
Preferred
- Familiarity with contract negotiation for EPC agreements and commercial clauses.
- Experience coordinating cross-functional teams (engineering, procurement, finance) on bids.
