Role Overview:
These roles are responsible for the preparation and submission of technical and commercial bids for chemical products and services. Responsibilities include opportunity assessment, document preparation, coordination with internal teams, and submission through relevant procurement platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and evaluate relevant tender opportunities
- Analyze tender documents and ensure full compliance with requirements
- Coordinate with internal teams including Sales, Finance, Legal, and Technical
- Prepare and submit tenders via GEM, SAP Ariba, and similar platforms
- Develop pricing strategies and cost estimates
- Maintain a database of submitted tenders and outcomes
- Build and manage professional relationships with clients, vendors, and partners
- Report regularly to senior management on tender progress and results
Qualifications:
- B.Sc. (Chemistry / Industrial Chemistry / Related Science discipline)
- B.Tech / B.E. (Chemical Engineering / Industrial Engineering or related field)
Experience Requirements:
- 25 years of relevant experience in tendering, bidding, or proposal management
- Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in end-to-end tender or bid management
- Experience in handling government, PSU, and institutional tenders
- Prior experience in chemical manufacturing, industrial B2B, or specialty chemicals preferred
Skills & Competencies:
- Proficiency in GEM Portal, SAP Ariba, and similar e-procurement platforms
- Strong knowledge of tender documentation, EMDs, bank guarantees, and compliance norms
- Good command of MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Strong analytical, coordination, and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple tenders and meet deadlines
