About The Role
Masai, in academic collaboration with a premier institute, is seeking an
Industry Mentor (IM) for the
Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning (AI & ML) program, which will be delivered
in Telugu.
The mentor will play a key role in guiding learners toward mastering AI concepts, machine learning techniques, and their applications in solving real-world business problems all while ensuring concepts are made accessible and engaging for Telugu-speaking learners.
This part-time role is ideal for
seasoned AI/ML professionals from Tier-1 companies who are passionate about sharing their expertise, mentoring aspiring technologists, and helping learners understand how AI is shaping the future of technology and innovation.
Key Responsibilities (KRAs)
- Mentorship and Guidance
- Conduct mentorship sessions in Telugu to help learners grasp applied AI/ML concepts, real-world implementation strategies, and best practices.
- Offer structured feedback on learner progress, project execution, and problem-solving approaches.
- Industry Exposure and Application
- Share practical case studies and examples showcasing how AI and ML are applied across industries.
- Help students connect theory with real-world scenarios and enterprise-scale problem solving.
- Review and Evaluation
- Evaluate project submissions, assignments, and provide detailed, actionable feedback in Telugu where required.
- Guide learners on industry expectations and AI product development workflows.
- Learner Engagement
- Conduct office hours or small-group sessions to clarify advanced ML concepts such as model tuning, data engineering, and AI ethics.
- Motivate learners to build innovative AI-driven solutions and explore new-age technologies like Generative AI, LLMs, and Agentic AI.
- Collaboration and Feedback Loop
- Work with academic and program teams to ensure the curriculum stays aligned with the latest industry trends.
- Share learner insights and feedback to continuously enhance the learning experience.
Candidate Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in AI/ML, Data Science, or Applied AI, preferably in a Tier-1 company (e.g., Google, Microsoft, Amazon, NVIDIA, TCS, Infosys, etc.).
- Expertise in machine learning algorithms, deep learning frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch), and model deployment.
- Exposure to MLOps, Generative AI, or LLM-based solutions is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in speaking and explaining technical concepts in Telugu is mandatory.
- Strong communication skills and a genuine passion for mentoring learners.
- Prior teaching or mentoring experience is an added advantage.
- Familiarity with online learning platforms or LMS tools preferred.
Engagement Details
- Time Commitment: 6 to 8 hours per week
- Location: Remote (Online)
- Compensation: 70,000 to 90,000 per month (based on experience)
