Job Description

Telesales Executive

Location: Onsite at Bengaluru, Karnataka, India

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Engage in proactive outbound sales calls to potential and existing customers to introduce and sell company products and services.
  • Build and maintain a loyal customer base by providing excellent service and ensuring ongoing customer satisfaction.
  • Achieve assigned sales targets and objectives by promoting company offerings to clients and closing sales deals efficiently.
  • Develop and nurture strong relationships with clients to enhance customer loyalty and increase sales opportunities.
  • Maintain detailed records of customer interactions and sales activities to track progress and offer better customer support.
  • Collaborate with internal teams such as marketing and product development to ensure effective sales strategies and promotions.
  • Identify customer needs and provide appropriate product recommendations and solutions.
  • Follow up on leads and conduct market research to generate new sales opportunities.
  • Resolve customer complaints and issues in a timely manner to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Stay informed on industry trends, market dynamics, and competitor activities to inform sales strategy and customer outreach.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum of a high school diploma; a bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field is preferred.
  • Proven experience in sales, preferably in a telesales or outbound sales role.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport over the phone.
  • Demonstrated success in meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Familiarity with CRM software and tools to manage customer relationships and sales activity tracking.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to handle objections effectively.
  • Strong customer-focused mindset with the ability to identify customer needs and provide solutions.
  • Self-motivated and goal-oriented with a passion for sales.
  • Fluency in English; proficiency in additional languages is an advantage.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct outbound sales calls to a defined customer base to sell company products and services effectively.
  • Identify and qualify sales leads through market research and networking.
  • Meet or exceed sales targets by successfully closing sales deals and expanding customer accounts.
  • Educate and inform customers about company offerings, emphasizing product features and benefits.
  • Utilize CRM systems to manage client information, track sales activities, and follow up on leads.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of products, industry trends and competitor offerings.
  • Work collaboratively with the sales team to develop effective sales strategies and share best practices.
  • Provide feedback to management on customer needs, competitive offerings, and potential products to improve sales strategies.
  • Participate in training and professional development opportunities to enhance sales skills and product knowledge.
