Job Description
We are looking for a highly experienced Telecom Project Manager with strong OEM-driven delivery exposure, to manage end-to-end telecom projects .This role demands deep execution ownership, strong telecom domain knowledge.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage end-to-end telecom projectsfrom initiation to closure
- Own project planning, execution, cutover, closure, and customer acceptance
- Prepare and manage project plans, timelines, budgets, and risk registers
- Drive MOP planning, execution, and cutover management
- Track project progress, risks, issues, and change requests
- Ensure on-time delivery with SLA adherence and quality standards
- Manage multi-vendor teams(OEMs, partners, field teams, customers)
- Handle stakeholder communication, escalations, and conflict resolution
- Manage parallel workstreams, multi-site and PAN-India deployments
- Provide regular status reportingto senior management and stakeholders
Mandatory Experience & Qualifications
Experience (Mandatory)
- 10+ years overall experience, with at least 7 years in Telecom / Network / Infrastructure projects
- Proven experience as Project Manager / Project Leadmanaging projects valued at 5 Cr+
- Strong end-to-end telecom project execution ownership
Certification (Mandatory)
- PMP Certification Must
- ITIL Certification Good to have
Telecom & Technical Exposure (Mandatory)
- Hands-on exposure to Telecom / Network projects, including:
- IP / MPLS
- DWDM / Optical Transmission
- Access Networks / FTTx
- Wireless / Network Infrastructure projects
- Experience working with multi-vendor field teams( Partner + Customer)
- Direct or indirect exposureto:
- Service Provider customers
- OEM-partner delivery models
Execution Focus (Most Critical)
- Strong expertise in:
- Project Planning & Scheduling
- Method of Procedure (MOP)preparation and execution
- Cutover & Change Window Management
- Project Closure & Customer Acceptance Sign-off
- Proven ability to deliver in SLA-driven environments
- Experience handling change management, milestones, and acceptance criteria
Stakeholder & Vendor Management
- Manage and coordinate with:
- OEMs
- Implementation partners and vendors
- Internal teams and customers
- Strong capability in:
- Senior stakeholder communication
- Escalation management
