Role:Telesales Team Lead

Purpose of the role:

The Telesales Team Lead will be responsible for driving subscriber additions through effective team management, sales training, productivity enhancement, and process adherence. The role focuses on ensuring quality sales, improving enquiry conversions, and minimizing attrition by fostering a motivated and high-performing telesales team.

Role & Responsibilities:

  • Drive daily and monthly sales productivity for the team
  • Train and guide the team on sales pitches, competition handling, and funnel management
  • Focus on quality sales by aligning offers to customer needs
  • Ensure proper follow-up and tagging of all inbound leads
  • Monitor call quality and customer experience through regular call audits and feedback
  • Ensure quick response to new enquiries to improve conversions
  • Manage team engagement and retention through regular connects and activities
  • Support new joiners with proper onboarding and mentoring
  • Work closely with the team to ensure smooth dialler operations and process adherence

Must have:

  • Languages: Hindi, English
  • Proven experience in managing a telesales team, preferably in a subscriber-based business
  • Strong understanding of productivity metrics, lead management processes, and call quality standards
  • Ability to train and mentor a sales team in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Experience in using dialler tools like Ameyo or equivalent
