Job Description

A Tele Counselor in educationguides prospective students remotely (phone/digital) on academic programs, career paths, and admissions, focusing on converting inquiries into enrollments by assessing needs, providing detailed info, handling queries, and documenting interactions in CRM systems, requiring strong communication, empathy, and sales/service skills to meet targets. They manage inbound/outbound calls, build relationships, and coordinate with admissions to ensure smooth processes and informed decisions for students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Student Engagement:Make outbound calls to leads and answer inbound queries about courses, fees, and admissions.
  • Guidance & Support:Counsel students on career goals, educational programs, and suitable universities/courses.
  • Process Management:Guide students through the entire enrollment process, including documentation and visa filing (for overseas education).
  • Conversion & Targets:Convert inquiries into admissions and achieve monthly/quarterly enrollment targets.
  • Data & Reporting:Maintain detailed records of student interactions in aCRMsystem and provide feedback.
  • Collaboration:Work with admissions and marketing teams to improve strategies and service.

Essential Skills & Qualifications:

  • Communication:Excellent verbal communication, active listening, and interpersonal skills.
  • Empathy & Rapport:Ability to build trust and connect with students and parents.
  • Technical:Proficiency in CRM software and MS Office.
  • Sales Acumen:Experience in tele-sales or customer service, preferably in education, is a plus.
  • Education:Bachelor's degree in a related field (Psychology, Communication) is often preferred.
