Job description:
University Counselor or Telecaller manages inbound and outbound inquiries from prospective students to drive admissions. Key duties include providing detailed information on programs, fees, and eligibility; conducting counseling sessions; and achieving enrollment targets. This role requires strong communication, CRM proficiency, and, often, a degree with 03 years of experience in sales or counseling.
Key Responsibilities
- Admissions Counselling:Handle inquiries regarding university programs, fees, and admission processes via phone, email, or in-person visits.
- Outbound Calling:Proactively contact prospective students from lead databases to introduce educational programs and drive enrollment.
- Lead Conversion:Convert inquiries into admissions by guiding students on career paths and academic choices.
- CRM Management:Maintain accurate, real-time records of interactions in the university CRM system.
- Follow-ups:Execute regular follow-ups with prospective students via phone, WhatsApp, or email.
- Event Support:Participate in counselling sessions, webinars, seminars, and promotional events.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Education:High school diploma or equivalent; a bachelor's Degree.
- Experience:03 years in telecalling, sales, or counseling, preferably in the education sector.
- Communication:Excellent verbal and written communication skills (English/local languages).
- Skills:Strong interpersonal skills, CRM software knowledge, and ability to handle high call volumes.
