URGENT HIRING !!
Tekla Modeler
A. 3D Modeling
- Develop detailed 3D models of steel structures, pipe racks, equipment supports, platforms, and foundations using Tekla Structures.
- Model all members, connections, bolts, welds, gratings, handrails, ladders, and miscellaneous steel items.
- Integrate the model with inputs from other disciplines (e.g., piping, mechanical, and civil).
B. Drawing and Report Generation
- Generate General Arrangement (GA), Assembly, and Single Part Drawings directly from the 3D model.
- Produce Material Take-Off (MTO) and Bill of Materials (BOM) reports for procurement and fabrication.
C. Coordination and Clash Checking
- Coordinate with piping, mechanical, and civil teams to resolve clashes or interface issues.
- Use Tekla's clash detection tools and model coordination software (e.g., Navisworks or SmartPlant Review).
D. Compliance and Quality
- Ensure models and drawings adhere to:
- Project specifications
- Client and international standards (AISC, API, ASME, etc.)
- Fabrication and erection tolerances
- Follow project-specific numbering, naming conventions, and revision control procedures.
E. Collaboration
- Participate in model reviews with the design team and clients.
- Work closely with engineers and checkers to incorporate design changes and corrections.

TEKLA CHECKER
A. Model and Drawing Verification
- Review 3D models for accuracy in geometry, member sizes, orientation, and location.
- Verify connection details (bolts, welds, plates) against design calculations and connection design drawings.
- Ensure correct part numbering, material grades, and attributes.
B. Drawing Quality Check
- Check GA, Assembly, and Single Part Drawings for:
- Dimensional accuracy
- Proper labeling, notes, and welding symbols
- Conformance to project standards and client requirements
- Confirm that all revisions are correctly incorporated.
C. Coordination and Communication
- Communicate with modelers to resolve discrepancies, missing details, or unclear information.
- Liaise with engineers to confirm design intent where ambiguity exists.
D. Standards and Procedures
- Enforce adherence to:
- Project CAD standards
- Company and client-specific Tekla templates
- Revision and document control systems
E. Quality Control and Documentation
- Maintain checklists and logs for QA/QC records.
- Approve models and drawings before they are issued for fabrication (Issued for Construction status).
- Participate in internal and external audits related to model quality.
