TEKLA CHECKER

Role Description

The TEKLA Checker role is a full-time, on-site position based in Chennai. The key responsibilities include reviewing TEKLA models and drawings for accuracy, compliance, and adherence to project requirements. The TEKLA Checker will verify structural detailing, ensure consistency with project specifications, and collaborate closely with design teams to resolve discrepancies or improve efficiency. The role also involves maintaining quality control, troubleshooting technical issues, and supporting project deadlines by ensuring all deliverables meet high standards.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in TEKLA software and the ability to check TEKLA models and drawings for compliance and accuracy.
• Strong understanding of structural detailing and engineering principles, with experience in reading and interpreting technical specifications and drawings.
• Attention to detail, quality control skills, and the ability to identify and resolve design discrepancies effectively.
• Collaboration and communication skills for working closely with design and engineering teams.
• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering or a related field is preferred.
• Prior experience with steel detailing or structural engineering projects is a plus.
• Knowledge of AISC,OSHA ,US standards and compliance requirements is highly desirable.
