As part of the TechOps team, you'll play a key role in ensuring reliable, secure and scalable infrastructure that supports our mission of delivering banking services to millions of users every day.
Key Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot, analyze and resolve system issues across platforms and applications (cloud + on-premises).
- Work with the TechOps team to architect, install, operate and maintain server, network and storage infrastructure, both on-premises and in the cloud.
- Deploy, configure and maintain Linux operating systems (preferably RHEL) and associated applications.
- Monitor system performance, automate routine operational tasks (scripting in Bash/Python) and perform performance tuning.
- Collaborate with development teams to ensure proper integration of applications with Linux/infra platforms.
- Use DevOps practices and tools: CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, Bitbucket), configuration management (Ansible, Chef, Puppet), Infrastructure as Code (Terraform / CloudFormation).
- Understand and implement security controls: firewalls, VPNs, load-balancers, WAFs, security certificates, credential management.
- Manage cloud infrastructure (preferably AWS) EC2, VPC, S3, IAM, monitoring and handling service incidents & outages.
- Document operating procedures, manage change- and problem-management processes, maintain inventories, and drive process improvements.
- Stay current on Linux technologies, container platforms (Kubernetes / OpenShift), private cloud (VMware) and emerging best practices.
Preferred Skills & Technologies
- Operating Systems: Linux (RHEL preferred)
- Cloud: AWS (experience deploying/managing EC2, VPC, S3, IAM) familiarity with OCI or other clouds is a plus
- Private Cloud / Virtualization : VMware
- Containers/Orchestration: Kubernetes (EKS/OpenShift)
- Scripting & Automation: Python, Bash
- Configuration & Infrastructure as Code: Ansible, Terraform, CloudFormation
- CI/CD & Source Control: Jenkins, Bitbucket, Git
- Networking & Security Concepts: Load Balancers, Firewalls, WAFs, VPNs, Role-Based Access, credentials & certificates
- Tooling: Monitoring/Logging stacks (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK or similar)
We Are Looking For
- Bachelor's degree (B.Tech /B.E) in Computer Science or related technical discipline.
- 1 to 4 years of relevant experience in TechOps / DevOps / Infrastructure / SRE roles.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment, adapt to changing business needs.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.
- Enthusiasm to learn, experiment and adopt new technologies
