Job Description

As a Technology Support I team member in Commercial and Investment Bank's Post Trade Team, you will ensure the operational stability, availability, and performance of our production application flows. Be part of the team responsible for troubleshooting, maintaining, identifying, escalating, and resolving production service interruptions for all internally and externally developed systems, ensuring a seamless user experience.

Job responsibilities

  • Provide endtoend production support across Post Trade and recon applications.
  • Monitor, triage, and resolve incidents while meeting SLAs and cutoffs.
  • Drive rootcause analysis and preventive fixes to reduce repeat issues.
  • Manage changes and releases with strong risk controls and documentation
  • Monitor service health triage and restore fast
  • Own SLA adherence for batches, online, and feeds
  • Perform RCA implement preventive actions and run change/release with risk controls
  • Operate schedulers and file/data pipelines and maintain runbooks and dashboards
  • Coordinate with Ops on cutoffs and client deliverables
  • Automate repetitive tasks to cut toil and support DR tests and resilience controls
  • Track problems and drive longterm fixes

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • 1+ years of experience or equivalent expertise in troubleshooting, resolving, and maintaining information technology services
  • 3+ years in production support/SRE
  • Strong SQL with relational DBs
  • Linux/Unix, shell Python for automation
  • Schedulers (Autosys/ ControlM) and SFTP
  • Monitoring/observability tools (e.g., Splunk, Grafana LIS equivalents)
  • Incident, problem, and change management (ITIL)
  • Clear stakeholder communication with Ops/business
  • Proven RCA and remediation planning
  • Oncall readiness and documentation discipline

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Post Trade/reconciliation domain knowledge
  • FIX/SWIFT and downstream reporting flows
  • AWS data services (e.g., S3, Datadog, CloudWatch)
  • Batch/ETL performance tuning
  • ITIL, AWS, or SRE certifications will be added advantage
