Project Role Description : Resolve incidents and problems across multiple business system components and ensure operational stability. Create and implement Requests for Change (RFC) and update knowledge base articles to support effective troubleshooting. Collaborate with vendors and help service management teams with issue analysis and resolution.

Good to have skills : Unix Architecture and Design

Summary:

As a Technology Support Engineer, a typical day involves addressing and resolving incidents and problems that affect various business system components to maintain smooth and stable operations. The role includes creating and executing Requests for Change to improve system functionality and reliability. The engineer also dedicates time to updating knowledge base articles, ensuring that troubleshooting resources remain current and effective. Collaboration is a key part of the day, working closely with vendors and service management teams to analyze issues and implement timely solutions that support overall business continuity and operational excellence.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
• Responsible for team decisions.
• Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
• Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
• Coordinate with external vendors to facilitate issue resolution and system improvements.
• Mentor junior team members to enhance their technical skills and problem-solving capabilities.
• Ensure documentation is thorough and up to date to support knowledge sharing and operational efficiency.
  
  

Professional & Technical Skills:

• Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Linux, Unix Architecture and Design.
• Good To Have Skills: Experience with Unix Architecture and Design.
• Strong understanding of Linux system administration and troubleshooting techniques.
• Experience in managing and maintaining multi-tier business applications on Linux platforms.
• Ability to analyze system logs and performance metrics to identify and resolve issues.
• Familiarity with scripting languages to automate routine tasks and improve operational workflows.
