PMO / Portfolio Management Lead Technology

Location: Flexible / Global Offices | Company: adm-Indicia

Following our merger to become adm-Indicia, we are establishing a dedicated Technology Portfolio & Project Management Office (PMO) to oversee and optimize technology change across all our solutions. We are seeking an experienced PMO / Portfolio Management Lead to unify existing delivery practices into a single, professional function and evolve the PMO capability in partnership with our CTO and Head of QA & Governance.

This is a senior leadership role with accountability for portfolio governance, delivery performance, and team leadership.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and coordinate the day-to-day delivery of the Technology portfolio.
  • Administer and enhance the Technology Portfolio Management tool across the organization.
  • Proactively manage delivery risks, issues, and escalations.
  • Lead the Solutions Review Board for project approval, collaborating closely with IT and Business Analysis.
  • Evolve and embed portfolio and project management standards and governance.
  • Drive consistency and standardization across all technology projects.
  • Manage resource capacity, constraints, and efficiency across delivery teams.
  • Maintain the technology risk log at a portfolio level with the CTO.
  • Promote innovation, lessons learned, and continuous improvement in delivery practices.
  • Line manage Technical Project Delivery Managers and key development workstreams.
  • Collaborate with senior internal and external stakeholders, including Head of PMO & Integration.
  • Deputize for the Head of QA & Governance as required.
  • Promote quality through effective SLAs, metrics, and performance measures.
  • Support training and development of junior and third-party resources.

Skills & Expertise

  • Strong understanding of PMO and portfolio management functions.
  • Proven project and portfolio management experience.
  • Line management and people leadership experience.
  • Experience managing third-party suppliers and partners.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management, including senior leadership.
  • Experience in complex or transforming technology environments.
  • Exposure to governance boards or portfolio approval forums.
  • Background in driving delivery standards and organizational change.
  • High attention to detail and strong risk awareness.
  • Proactive, solutions-focused leadership style.
  • Practical and measured approach to complex delivery challenges.
  • Strong drive for continuous improvement.
  • Clear, structured, and concise approach to governance and process.
